My Peanut Butter Banana Cream Pie recipe is sponsored by Collective Bias, Inc. Jif. All opinions are mine alone.
Hi there! So you may not know this about me, but I love Peanut Butter Pie. And I love Banana Cream Pie. Sadly, neither of these delights really fit into the whole “New Year, New You” journey I’m working toward for 2016. However, thanks to my hubby Ryan introducing me to the combo, one of my favorite high protein snacks is a banana with peanut butter. I know, if you’re like me it may sound just a slight step up from inedible, but TRUST me, this flavor combo is the stuff dreams are made of! Well, are you ready for me to rock your world? My new jam is Jif Peanut Powder. Jif’s new family member Peanut Powder is made 100% from fresh roasted peanuts. And that’s it! What that means for my aforementioned journey is that it has 85% less fat than regular peanut butter. Say whaa?! Yep, that’s right!
So now for our full circle moment of the day… now that I’ve discovered Jif Peanut Powder, it got me thinking about how I can partake (along with you fellow peanut butter pie and banana cream pie lovers!) in this delight, along with my new found delight of peanut butter and banana… PEANUT BUTTER BANANA CREAM PIE! Ohhhhh yes!
This delicious, creamy pie is the perfect treat when you want to feed your sweet tooth but don’t want to completely thrust yourself from the New Year wagon!

Printable recipe card below.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup graham crackers
- ½ cup vanilla wafers
- ½ cup honey roasted peanuts
- 2 tablespoons cold whipped light butter
- 2 packages sugar free banana cream instant pudding
- 3½ cups 1% milk
- ¾ cup Jif Peanut Powder
- Chocolate sauce for drizzling (optional)
Directions
For Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350º.
- Add graham crackers, ¼ cup peanuts, vanilla wafers and whipped butter to a food processor or blender.
- Pulse until slightly coarse. Pour into an 8″ pie pan.
- Spread the crust evenly on the bottom and sides of pan, using the back of a measuring cup to pack down and even out the thickness on the bottom and sides.
- Bake for 8 – 10 minutes, until edges are light golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 15 minutes and then chill for 2 hours.
For Filling:
- Add banana cream pudding, Jif Peanut Powder and milk to a large mixing bowl. Beat for 2 minutes.
- Pour mixture into pie crust and smooth evenly.
For Topping:
- Drizzle chocolate syrup on top of pie, if desired. My question is why would it not be desired? 😉 I like to do it graffiti style. If there isn’t a huge mess to clean up on the counter, you didn’t do it right.
- Add remaining peanuts to food processor. Pulse until peanuts are roughly chopped. Sprinkle on top of pie.
And there you have it! Are you ready to cut a slice? Is your mouth watering yet? 😉

Btw, another of my other favorite ways to enjoy peanut butter is in smoothies, with so much protein it fills me up as well as any other protein powder I’ve used! Check out this delish Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie Smoothie. What other recipes can you dream up in which you would use Jif Peanut Powder? I’d love to hear them below!
