My Tropi-Kale Green Smoothie recipe is sponsored by Sunsweet Growers. All opinions are 100% mine.
Hello! TGIF my friends! I hope you had a great week! Whether you did or didn’t, I suspect today’s find is about to make it even better… it’s my new favorite snack. I mean, who doesn’t love to snack, right?! After Ryan and I went on our honeymoon to the Dominican Republic, I fell in love with tropical fruit. We had it at our beckon call 24-7 and it was divine. Living in Ohio, clearly I haven’t have that access, but I do now! Sunsweet has launched a new line of Philippine Tropicals and they are my fav new snack. I’ve been snacking on them as-is and using them in recipes, one of which is my fav new recipe, a ridiculously easy and delicious green smoothie that I’m sharing with you in a minute!
These tropical delights are sourced from a very lush area in the Philippine islands; they happen to be known for their one of a kind Marabella Mangos. The Sunsweet Philippine Green Mango variety is picked early, just as they start to ripen which adds a bright tanginess to the fruit. The original Philippine Mango is America’s #1 mango and the thick, soft, sweet pieces are just as delightful as the fresh supply from our honeymoon. The Thai Coconut Chip has a satisfying crunch (you know how sometimes you just need a crunchy snack?) with a warm, creamy touch of Vanilla. The Philippine Pineapple is juicy and delicious and taste just like biting into a fresh piece of pineapple.
I’ve been putting them in small leftovers containers so that Ryan and I can grab them for a quick on the go snack. He loves to keep a stash in his car since he spends about 6 hours a day in it for work.
I’m loving incorporating them into recipes as it makes summer feel a little bit closer (because it’s 17º right now in Columbus. Ew.) Here’s what I’ve got (so far). I’d love to hear from you in the comments what recipes pop into mind for you to make with these tropical treats!
