Hey there! So I’ve lost count at how many times I’ve mentioned on the blog how ecstatic I am for the arrival of Spring. But it isn’t just because my bones can start to unthaw, it’s also because Spring has always been my favorite season for fashion and makeup! This Spring is no exception, and I’m absolutely crushing on many of the Spring trends I’m seeing out there in magazines, online and on celebs.
Since I don’t have any red-carpet or catwalk strolls in my near future ;), I veer to the wearable side of trend, not so much the couture. These are some of my favorite trends happening out there for Spring 2015.
The Shirtdress
I find the shirtdress to be like a spinoff of the classic wrap dress. Simply elegant, universally flattering, sophisticated but with a casual modesty.
NUDE!
I don’t mean in the literal sense, but the nude/neutral moment strides on. The nudes this season cover a broader spectrum than your garden variety neutral. They bring the grey/greige tones an on the other side of the color wheel, even some peachy warmth. If you haven’t seen this Spring trend out and about yet, now you will notice it everywhere. Handbags, shoes, nails, makeup, clothes… every.where. Fine by me!

Handbag: Zappos
The Jumpsuit and Romper
I love this look! There is such a variety in length, fabrics, colors and styles; easy to dress up or dress down with accessories and styling. And look what’s making it’s way back into closets through the land… chambray. Now that’s been awhile!
Dillard’s • Anthropologie • H & M
Welcome to the Jungle
Green is my favorite color. While this safari trend verges on the khaki side, I will still claim it as a shade of green, because I love it! I particularly appreciate this trend with gold accessories.
NY & Company• Macy’s • Target
Cold Shoulder
Off the shoulder and the cold shoulder are everywhere this season. And this Spring trend is everything! I enjoy this look so much, I admit I hold on to pieces I have through the years and and look forward to when it comes back in style (which it always does within a few years!) so I can pull them out again!
Nordstrom • Anthropologie • Amazon
Do you see a theme here? There is so much overlap among the Spring trends that’s it’s easy to hit a couple of them with these pieces.
What trends are you looking forward to for Spring? I hope you’re having a fabulous weekend!

Love those fringe shoes and fringe has made a comeback, once again! I also love the “cold shoulder” (great titles on your post!). Thrilled to be ditching the sweaters until fall!
