Thank you to Boscov’s for sponsoring my rustic Christmas inspiration. As always, all opinions shared are my own.
Hi friends, happy FriYAY! I’m curious… are you team decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving or team after? I’ve started and I’m hoping to wrap up this weekend (I guess I’m feeling extra ambitious today!) Raise your hand if every year you see a Christmas home tour on Pinterest and it makes you want to ditch all of your existing decor? Guilty! Case in point… if you were to come over to my house you might have a tough time nailing down what my decor theme is. I call it cozy modern farmhouse-ish. That’s a thing right? I’m just waiting for it to show up in category menus. 😉 Most of the guts of our house are pretty modern but my decor is very eclectic.
I remember when I first started to see the rustic Christmas decor trend arising… I found it so cozy and comforting; it made me feel nostalgic for a time period I didn’t even experience! The emergence of that trend is one of those times that I wanted to ditch everything and turn my house into a full on Christmas farmhouse, sans the chickens, etc. Clearly I can’t afford (money or space-wise) to get all new decor every time the mood strikes me. The solution to this has been to integrate some beautiful rustic Christmas elements into my existing decor. You don’t have to abandon your entire design scheme or existing decor to add warm touches of rustic glam!
Boscov’s sent me some beautiful pieces that satisfy my rustic Christmas craving and they are versatile enough to use beyond Christmas. Double win! I am in love with these wood reindeer, aren’t they darling? The living room console table is the first thing that I decorated for Christmas so I’ve already been enjoying this pair. I decided to cut out a little red bowtie for the Mr. 🙂
On to the dining room! Jute placemats and herringbone napkins will make for beautiful Thanksgiving and Christmas place settings but are versatile enough to use all year (which I sure will be!) And can we talk about these napkin rings?! Swoooon!!! These are too gorgeous to confine to napkins only… I’ve been trying to think of other crafty ways I can use them; my first idea was to glue a couple on the ends of a tray for decorative “handles”… any other ideas?
Here are some other rustic Christmas beauties from Boscov’s that I have my eye on…
My porch and mailbox want these!
LED Dunhill Fir star wreath • Wood sled with holiday floral • Glittery mailbox swag
This pillow and tree skirt definitely fit into the “cozy” part of my decor theme! Yep I think I need them.
Red and white sweater style snowflake throw pillow • Buffalo check faux fur tree skirt
How would you describe your decor style? Which of these elements would you love to integrate into your home decor? I’d love to hear in the comments below!
Have a safe and wonderful weekend friends, thank you for being here!

Deer have always been a favorite of my Christmas decor. I love
the idea of adding something a bit more primitive for variety sake. These deer would be perfect. Love the bow tie touch!

Thanks so much! They’re one of my favs too! 🙂 xo

Lydia, I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving, amid your Christmas decor. I’m hoping to have our house sparingly decorated by Dec. 1. We will be traveling so we do not want to come back home to a lot of undecorating. So I have already been putting souvenir ornaments on a silk ficus tree. I’m so ready!

Thanks so much Jewell! I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and have safe travels! I understand not wanting to come back to un-decorating! 😉
