Hi there! Anyone else with me when I say brunch is my JAM!!!? If every meal could be brunch, I would be totally ok with that. I lived in Chicago for awhile and brunch was HUGE there! Every weekend my friends Lindsay, Stephanie and I would go to brunch, catch up and gossip à la Sex and the City (at least that’s how we liked to think of it 😉 ).
When I moved back to Columbus, I was happy to see that Brunch was gaining momentum and has continued to expand since. In addition to hitting the local neighborhood brunch spots, I’ve also enjoyed trying new brunch recipes at home.
With Mother’s Day and Father’s Day just around the corner, I wanted to share some fabulous brunch recipes with you. These are 2 great occasions to host a brunch; along with days ending in “day”. They cover the gamut with sweet, savory and spirit varieties.
Sweet Brunch Recipes
Blueberry Overnight French Toast
How amazing does this French Toast look?! Please resist the urge to lick your screen. Unless you just really want to; in which case who am I to judge. Love the convenience of preparing it the night before, love blueberries, and love french toast. Done and done.
Sticky Lemon Rolls with Lemon Cream Cheese Glaze
These Lemon Rolls blend the perfect mix of sweet and tart with the lemon and cream cheese. Try to resist the urge to lick your fingers after eating. Or don’t. Again, no judgment.
Rustic Raspberry Lemon Cheese Tart
This Tart is almost too beautiful to eat! Almost. The flavor and texture combination in this recipe will sing in harmony in your mouth. You will truly savor every bite and possibly make a noise after your 1st taste because you’re in awe.

Savory Brunch Recipes
Sausage, Egg, Cheese & Rosemary Breakfast Casserole
I’m a big fan of a breakfast casserole, and this Casserole takes it to a whole new level. First of all, I’m obsessed with Rosemary. If someone ever said I had to choose a favorite herb between Rosemary and Basil, I would ask them if they would pick a favorite child and quite possibly not be friends with them anymore. It adds such depth to the combination of traditional breakfast ingredients and makes this one among the first to go at any brunch.
Frittaffle
Frittaffle: noun. Frit-awful. But it’s soooo the opposite of awful! It’s a, wait for it… a Frittata PLUS a waffle! It’s like the Brangelina of brunch food! Mind.Blown. This kind of recipe is my favorite as it combines sweet and savory. It also includes arugula and parmesan cheese, another 2 of my favorite foods. Remember, don’t ask me to choose. I want us to stay friends.
Easy Breakfast Bruschetta
This Breakfast Bruschetta recipe is such a great idea; a perfect portable brunch offering for your guests so they can mingle while they eat!
On the Lighter Side
Gluten Free Fruit Breakfast Tart
This Beautiful Fruit Tart is like a work of art. Let me tell you, I would never be the first person to cut into this masterpiece if I attended a brunch with this on the menu! Talk about a punch of flavor! The sweetness of the fresh fruit and honey, the tartness of Greek yogurt, the crunch of a crust made with granola and nuts… yes, you can take a moment.
Banana Cream Pie Breakfast Parfaits
I loooove Banana Cream Pie. My grandfather baked the absolute best and I wouldn’t dishonor his memory by trying to replicate it. However, these Parfaits are a delightful (and much lighter) option that satisfy that craving!
Fruit Kebabs with Honey & Coconut
I really like kebabs. I spend time thinking about what I can kebab. I’ve done fruit kebabs before but these ones with Honey and Coconut just upped the kebab game. So fresh and delicious!
Libations
Champagne Punch Bellini
Any brunch that can be called a brunch will typically contain some sort of adult bevs. This elegant Bellini makes a beautiful accompaniment to any brunch; and like it’s creator Dorothy said so perfectly, “prettier drinks taste better”.
Tangerine Sorbet Champagne Floats
Oooooh a grown up float! These Champagne Floats are a perfect alternative to the standard mimosa. Aaaaand, I mean, it’s a float! A. Float. Yasss.
Bloody Mary Bar
I think having a a self-serve anything at a brunch (or any soirée for that matter) is a solid idea. Guests then feel free to help themselves and don’t feel as if they’re bothering the host by asking for something. This Bloody Mary Bar is loaded with traditional and not so traditional bloody fixings. Such a fun set up!
Who’s ready for brunch?! For me, that’s a rhetorical question!
What are some of your favorite brunch foods or recipes?

That’s a great idea to use granola for the crust of a fruit tart! Can’t wait to try it. It IS a piece of art the way it is put together. All the recipes look great!
