I can’t even believe that its been 2 years since my bachelorette party… my friends called the festivities “Lydia’s March Madness” and that they were! I was so lucky to spend time with 5 of my dearest friends from different circles all together; it was a time I will never forget. My friend Heather hosted all of us at her beautiful home in Tampa and we had a blast! I left my bachelorette party weekend feeling so loved and blessed, I can’t even tell you (even though they made me wear a bachelorette sash 😉 ).
I look forward to spoiling my next girlfriend to get married, whoever that may be, the way that my friends spoiled me. With wedding season around the corner, you may very well be thinking about a bachelorette party for one of your friends or family. If so, let’s explore some fun, non-traditional themes to enjoy with your friend before the biggest day of her life!
A Good Old Fashioned Slumber Party
How often do we do this as adults? Not often enough! Having a slumber party in honor of the bachelorette is a fun way for her to catch up with all of her friends in a more intimate setting.
DIY Lingerie Photo Booth
This would be entertainment for hours at the slumber party!
These tanks are perfect overnight apparel for the bride and her squad.
Hit the Beach
A long weekend at the beach is what my friends planned for me and it was heavenly! There’s nothing like hanging with friends, listening to some good music and enjoying the sand and surf.
Hats are a must for the beach to help shield from the sun, these fun Bride and Team Bride Hats would make a perfect party favor.
Camping or Glamping
Perfect for the nature loving and outdoorsy bride.
Bride and Tribe Coozies are perfect to keep the cans cold in the great outdoors.
Either set up at home or even in Las Vegas, casino games are fun entertainment.
The Party Favors
Personalized Casino Night Custom Bachelorette Party Cups, so cute!
I may or may not have ended up on the stage at my bachelorette party; it wasn’t actually karaoke, it was (or wasn’t) with a band but it was a blast nonetheless!
This is for a birthday party but could be made into a bachelorette party invite.
The Party Favors
Custom Bachelorette Party Gold Temporary Tattoos are the perfect rock star accessory!
A cooking, yoga, baking, pottery, belly dancing, painting or crafty class would be a fun activity for everyone to enjoy together.
Again this is just for inspiration (this invite is for a birthday).
The Party Favors
Personalized Tumblers to stay hydrated during the festivities!
No matter what theme you decide on, there are elements that every party needs… beverages, music and decor being 3 of them.
I originally featured this as an Engagement Party idea, but I love it so much why not repeat it?!
Ta da and cheers! Enough said. Just too cute!
Champagne Soaked “Drunken” Gummy Bears
This “bling” banner is perfect for a bachelorette party or bridal shower.
This easy DIY Metallic Tassel Banner is so festive, don’t you think?
This Lingerie Banner would especially be cute for the slumber party theme!
No matter what you do, you need a soundtrack for the party! This is a great Bachelorette Party Playlist.
For the Bride
The bride would certainly love a souvenir to remember the amazing time she had with her friends celebrating her upcoming wedding, I know I loved the ones I got! Here are a few fun ideas:
This coffee mug would come in handy for the morning after the party to get going after a long night with a big ole coffee in it!
My friends made a frame very similar to this for me and I love it so much! I have it hanging in my closet so I can see it everyday with the above picture of us on the beach in it.
Create a Time Capsule. Everyone brings a favorite picture with the bride, memory or souvenir from the bachelorette party itself and places it inside. The bride can open it at a designated time.
Which of these themes sound the most fun to you? If you had or have been to a great bachelorette party, what was the best part?
