You may have noticed about me that I’m a fan of good theme party. Is that an understatement? Maybe so. Admittedly I can get a little carried away with a party theme and a 4th of July party is certainly no exception! There are so many fun ways to decorate in red, white and blue and even the food can get in on the action.
Most of my 4th of July party decorations and serving ware I have accumulated through the last few years have come from the dollar store so going all in with this theme doesn’t require a big investment.
One of my favorite 4th of July party decorations is my silverware. I know. You’re thinking: Um, silverware?? Well specifically my silverware caddies. They’re so simple! I just place red and blue bandanas in mason jars, tie on some flag ribbon and pop the silverware in the jars.
Summer fruits play along in helping nail the 4th of July party theme just as is. Infusing some water with strawberries, raspberries and blueberries makes for patriotic and thirst-quenching party bevs.
So don’t worry, I don’t go as crazy as to die my food red, white and blue (although I won’t lie, it has crossed my mind). I actually like to keep the food pretty simple. It’s so hot by the 4th of July that heavy, hot food is pretty much the last thing you want, right? So my friends, it’s all about that dip. Dip is so versatile and can make it look like you prepared a lot more food than you actually did. You like that jedi trick?
You may not have tried Chobani Meze Dips yet since they’re brand spanking new. If you haven’t, run don’t walk (or you can drive 😉 ) to Target, Meijer or Walmart and pick some up. Here’s a dollar off coupon for you even! These dips are deeelish! It’s the same Chobani that makes my favorite Greek Yogurt and like the yogurt, Chobani Meze Dips are made with only natural, non-GMO ingredients. There are 4 flavors all made with real veggies, herbs and spices and blended with creamy Greek Yogurt. So back to that jedi trick, here are some easy, festive and elegant ways to serve your Chobani Meze Dips:
Classic Dip for Dip’s Sake
Having dip at the ready with a variety of dippers is a quintessential party staple, right? I’m loving the Chobani Chili Lime Meze Dip with pretty much anything… veggies, crackers, tortilla chips, mini pitas and any variety of kebab.
Veggie & Dip Shooters
This is one of my all time favorite party apps. Portable, check. Cute, check. Delicious, check. I simply fill shot glasses about half-full with Chobani Smoked Onion & Parmesan Meze Dip and drop in some celery, baby carrots and cherry tomatoes. Easy breezy.
Jedi trick, check. That’s a great assortment of 4th of July party fare, do you agree? Finished off with my Fireworks Greek Yogurt Pops and your guests will be sat-is-fied!
I don’t know about you but I’m ready to get my 4th of July party on! Do you have any plans yet for the holiday?
