My pantry staples are sponsored by Annie’s. The opinions shared are all mine.
What do you think of when you think of pantry staples? Sure, there’s your flour, sugar, baking soda, etc; but when I think of the pantry I think of it being the place you go when you’re hungry and possibly stand in front of it for a while waiting for something delicious to jump out at you to snack on – isn’t it the worst when nothing does?! You shift that stale box of crackers around a few times thinking that something must be behind there by the 4th looksee. Btw, why don’t we just throw those crackers away? I guess for those times that hunger calls and there is nothing delicious in the pantry at all, so out of desperation you down a couple of old crackers.
Snacking can get a bad rap but in fact it can be very good. Snacks keep your metabolism running and help prevent overeating at meals due to extreme hunger. Snacks are especially good when they are made with only natural and organic ingredients like Annie’s. Have you tried them? They have become my pantry staples and there are a bunch of new varieties to try at Walmart. My first introduction to Annie’s was their Mac and Cheese and it really was love at first bite. I know, that’s cheesy. Literally. Mac and Cheese is up there with peanut butter in my book, so finding a good one that I can easily prepare at home was epic. Seriously. Epic.
Now on to my snack pantry staples! Annie’s Organic Classic Cheddar Bunnies remind me of one of my favorite childhood snacks but they are soooo much better for you. These crackers are great to take as an on the go snack and will even be making an appearance in an Easter basket this year (I mean they are bunnies after all! And bunnies love carrots!). These fun snack bags are perfect for the little’s lunch boxes too! You can get the pattern to make them here.
My other favorite Annie’s snack is the Organic White Cheddar Popcorn. This is not like any other popcorn you’ve ever tried. It tastes so fresh and the real white cheddar gives it such a smooth and rich flavor. Trust me, you will never go back to microwave popcorn or any other popcorn really! Give me my guy, my fur babies and a soft blanket, Netflix and a bag of this and I’m golden. It also pairs perfectly with a good book and a relaxing candle. 🙂
When you head to Walmart to check out these new pantry staples make sure to get a cart, buying Annie’s snacks is a cart situation, not a basket situation!
