I always struggle with Valentine’s gift ideas for Ryan. It’s so close to Christmas that my ideas for presents are tapped out. This year I went on the hunt to find unique, personal V Day gifts and I hit the mother load! I thought all of these are such creative and unique ways to show your sweetie that you love them.
Covert Cupid by The Dating Divas is so creative and fun! There is a family version or a couple’s version available to download with a slew of fun printables and ideas to carry out your Cupid-ly duties. Instead of gifting your Covert Cupid with things à la Secret Santa, this is all about expressing your love through daily acts of kindness leading up to Valentine’s Day. Included in the downloadable Covert Cupid “kit” are several suggestions such as scraping the ice off of their car, filling up their car with gas, bringing them breakfast in bed, and the list goes on and on! I absolutely LOVE this idea!
This adorable Love Coupon Book from Talitha at I Heart Naptime is certainly a lot more glamorous than the stapled notebook paper coupon books I use to gift to my parents as a kid! This book has tons of coupon options such as breakfast in bed, a day without chores, a massage, along with blank pages for your custom offerings. She even consulted her husband to make sure that our guys would be excited to redeem these babies! Simply download, print, cut out and tie together. Adorbs.
I love this “I Love You Because” frame from Hobby Lobby! You can write right on the glass with a dry erase marker, and you and your sweetie can take turns counting the ways you love each other, as well as display one of your favorite pics of the 2 of you.
This 12 Months of Pre-planned Date Nights book with printables by The Thinking Closet is a great idea! It’s so easy for all of us to get caught up in the chaos of life and forget to actually date our significant others. This little booklet is a fun way to pre-plan, which will eliminate the last minute obligatory (and probably redundant) date night that you both realize you are overdue for every so often. Dating is more than likely how we fell in love in the first place, and continuing to date is so important to remaining in love.
Who wouldn’t love to get HOURLY Valentine’s?! Mique shares this genius idea (and again, free printables!) on her blog Thirty Handmade Days, to pulse small gifts throughout the whole day at 14 minutes after. So creative, right?!
I love the anticipation of a scratch off lottery ticket! Granted I’ve probably only won a buck a handful of times, but with each pass of my nickel the excitement grows! With these Scratch-Off Hearts Cards from BHG, a win is guaranteed! There are customizable printable love lottery tickets, as well as the scratch off paint recipe on their site.
