Create a beautiful gender neutral baby shower in a stunning mint and lemon color scheme.

You guys! Cricut, Michael’s and Martha Stewart are about to take your party game to the next level! Martha has a beautiful new collection of party supplies at Michael’s that come in 10 beautiful themes and it has everything you need to throw a knock out of a party. Garlands, tablecloths, favor boxes, tiered stands, plates and so much more in the most beautiful colors and patterns. Add to it the new Cricut® Explore Air 2™ Special Edition Martha Stewart Bundle (also exclusive to Michael’s!) and you can create the most creative parties and decor ever.
When I saw the Meyer Lemon theme from Martha Stewart’s party line I thought it would be absolutely perfect for a gender neutral baby shower.
Gender Neutral Baby Shower Decorations
I love the mint and lemon color scheme of this collection and fully plan to utilize it for many more parties/showers to come! To create a gender neutral baby shower (for either the parents who choose to wait to find out baby’s sex or just enjoy more of a neutral theme) I used all decor from Martha’s Meyer Lemon line to create the table place settings and snack/drink table.
How adorable are these favor boxes?! Even the coordinating ribbon is from the Martha party line. They’re the perfect size for a bath bomb or little cupcake party favor.
Of course I had to create some accompanying projects for the gender neutral baby shower with my stunning new Martha machine! Look at this beautiful vanilla pearl finish with gold bling accents, and I am OBSESSED with the color coordinated tool set that comes in the bundle. Allll the heart eyes! Your Martha machine is compatible with any Cricut cartridges you already have and you can also use your own fonts and images. You can cut wirelessly with Bluetooth and design projects in iOS, Android, Windows and Mac. The Martha machine is a powerhouse cutter! It can cut tons of materials from heavy glitter cardstock, cork, bonded fabric, vinyl and much more and 2 times faster than the Cricut Explore Air and earlier machines.
The Martha machine bundle includes 50 ready to make projects and 25 exclusive Martha Stewart designs that are completely free once you install your new machine onto your computer. Add in any of the other thousands of designs available in Cricut Design Space to truly personalize any party decor.
I used one of the Martha Stewart designs to create adorable scalloped cupcake wrappers. They’re perfect for any kind of party (because every party needs cupcakes, right?! 😉 )
How to Make Scalloped Cupcake Wrappers
Supplies
- Cricut® Explore Air 2™ Special Edition Martha Stewart Bundle
- Cardstock
- Scalloped Cupcake Wrappers cut file
- Craft adhesive
Directions
Open the Scalloped Cupcake Wrappers cut file in Cricut Design Space. You can duplicate or delete wrappers to create as many as you need. Click “Make It” in the upper right corner.
Turn the dial on the machine to cardstock. Place the cardstock on a light grip cutting mat and load into the machine and press start.
Peel away the excess paper from the cutting mat and then remove the cupcake wrappers.
Tuck the tab on the cupcake wrapper into the slot and secure with a little adhesive. And they’re ready to slide in your cupcakes!
Another project I made with my Martha machine for the baby shower decorations involves me divulging a secret… my handwriting is atrocious (my husband says it’s illegible). I used some black vinyl to make the place cards and food signs. If you want to do the same, this is the Babette font in Design Space.
What kind of parties would you throw with the new Martha party line and Martha machine? I’d love to hear in the comments! Stay tuned for a lot more fun party ideas and projects with this dream collaboration coming soon!

Love the mint and yellow. We are doing a baby shower for my daughter in those colors. Where did you get that mint vase?
Lydia says
Thanks Candi! Honestly I’ve had that vase for years and can’t remember where I got it, sorry! 🙁

I can use this for my Memorial Weekend cookout festival and then my Father’s Day surprise party. That’s followed by my 12th annual 4th of July Extravaganza. The Martha Stewart Cricut will work wonders!
Thanks!

I like how you think Julia! I’d love to see your designs and parties if you want to tag me or email them over! 😉

I never thought I could have such an amazing party without a professional party planner. This is amazing!

What more of a party planner do we need than Martha, right?! Lol!
