Hey there friends! Happy October! I hope you had a great weekend. As I have been coming across so many things that I’m OBSESSED with lately (as is always the case in fall), it occurred to me that I haven’t done a favorites post in awhile. In light of my recent swoons I figure now is the perfect time… I hope you enjoy!
Favorite Fall Porch
Can you tell that monochromatic was my favorite day in color theory class?
Favorite Cookbook
The I Heart Naptime Cookbook by Jamielyn Nye is really so much more than just a cookbook. In addition to ridiculously amazing (yet very attainable) recipes and food photography, this cookbook has helpful tips throughout, craft ideas and even pretty little labels for your spice jars. As a cookbook lover, my collection was not complete without this gem! And yes, I’ll wait while you go whip up some of that pizza. 😉
Favorite Fashion Staple
I’m so happy that the bootie and the color olive are around and still hot this fall! I’m so in love with my Olive Sadie Suede Booties that White Mountain sent me… in addition to being totally gorgeous, they are the most comfortable booties in my closet. These will stay in steady rotation this fall and beyond.
Favorite Design Elements
This bench, the throw, just everything in this picture! I spotted this at the BIA Parade of Homes and haven’t been able to get it out of my mind since. Anyone know where I can get it? All of it? Any of it? Please? 😉
Favorite Buy
These felted wool pumpkins that I picked up at the Country Living Fair this year are everything, aren’t they?! They really tied my fall entryway project together in a perfect little bow (consider this a sneak peak, the rest of the entryway is coming up this week).
Favorite Creative Use of a Pumpkin
Allll heart eyes for this succulent pumpkin planter! Because we all know I have this thing with succulents, right?
What are you crushing on this fall? Please share, because there’s never too much fall eye candy for me (in case you haven’t noticed from my Pinterest page 😉 )!

Hi, Lydia, thanks for the wonderful ideas! Have you tried a Swedish Furniture store or Pier One? Williams Sonoma may have the tea towels. I enjoy your creativity! Love, Aunt Siouxze
Lydia says
Thanks so much Aunt Siouxze! I will check those spots and thank you for inspiring me with YOUR creativity!

Great collection of fall accessories! Love the wool pumpkins! I thought the BIA Parade was their best in a long time! They had great accessories! I’m swooning over antlers this fall. Love my silver ones from HomeGoods and my “real” ones from a barn sale. Happy fall!
BTW – Congrats on your shoutout on Good Housekeeping!!
Lydia says
Thank you so much Elaine, that’s so kind of you! I agree, the BIA was amazing!
