This easy DIY 2 Tiered Christmas Cookie Stand is such a fun addition to any holiday dessert table.
This post is sponsored by Pepperidge Farm. The ideas and opinions are mine alone.
As a little girl, I always looked forward to the day that my mom and I would make Christmas cookies. It was always so fun and I especially loved when my mom let me lick a spoon or 2. 😉 I still love the idea of Christmas cookies and the statement they make when entertaining, but I just don’t have the time (especially during the crazy holiday season!) to bake dozens and dozens of cookies! But, I can still serve the large variety of cookies that my mom and I used to make, without making them. Say whaa?! Yep that’s right. Pepperidge Farm® has a huge variety of cookies so you can still pull of that beautiful cookie stand full of an array of different colors, shapes and sizes.
Like the kitchen is always the focal point of a party, I feel like the Christmas cookie stand is the focal point of a holiday party. While the cookies are the obviously the star, they need a pretty place to shine, so I’m going to show you how to make a festive (and oh so easy) tiered cookie stand!
DIY Tiered Cookie Stand
Supplies needed:
- 1 small plate
- 1 large plate
- Candlestick
- Industrial Strength Adhesive
- Red multi-surface paint
- 1″ foam brush
Optional:
Directions
Paint candlestick, avoiding bottom and top rims (for better glue adhesion). Allow to dry and paint a second coat.
Thoroughly clean and dry plates. Apply a layer of adhesive on bottom rim of candlestick and press onto plate. Allow to dry for 6 hours. Once dry, apply a layer of adhesive to the top of the candlestick and press small plate to top. Allow to dry overnight.
You can stencil, paint or draw designs onto the edges of your plates, leave them as-is, or you can use my “Merry Christmas” cut file (find it here) if you have a Cricut cutting machine.
If using vinyl, cut and apply to plate edges with transfer tape.
Now your Christmas cookie stand is ready to load some cookies on it! I loaded my stand (and an extra plate because you can never have enough cookies, right?!) with cookies from the Pepperidge Farm Classic Cookie Collection, Pepperidge Farm Milano and some Pepperidge Farm Sugar Cookies for a pop of green!
Pepperidge Farm Pirouettes sit at the coffee station (the second focal point of the party 😉 ).
Your Christmas cookie stand is ready to party!
