Hello friends! I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas filled with your favorite people! Now that Christmas is over, the weather has officially induced hibernation and the New Year is fast approaching, I’m re-focused on my organization projects! You’ve been hearing me talk about my mission to get organized in our “new” house for over a year now. I’m sure I can get an “amen” from you when I say that it can be incredibly hard to get organized when you work beyond full time and are recovering from LGHD (low grade hoarding disorder). Well ma friends, the mission ensues! Here are some of the projects that I’ve tackled thus far, and some of the next ones on my agenda. If your goals include getting organized I hope they will help you to get there with me!

1. Declutter Calendar
I’ve utilized this calendar for several years. I wish I could say I follow it all the time, but even so it has helped me immensely in my quest to get (and stay) organized! A close runner up to numbers 7 & 8… opening a cabinet and having a pile of Tupperware lids fall down on me.

I really struggle to try and organise as I live in a very small studio flat with not a lot of cupboard space what would you suggest ? Thanks
Lydia says
That does make it tough Beckii! When I had minimal cupboard space I moved things that I used less than once a month into a closet and went through the cabinets frequently to purge. Good luck!

These are such good ideas for organizing I wish I could be better at it ,but I struggle trying to organize because my other half doesn’t think it’s practical or useful and is a time/ money waster even if we are on a low budget.
Lydia says
It’s a constant struggle for me too Elizabeth! I’ve had the best success with just doing a little bit everyday and then it also feels less overwhelming.
Rena Hale says
I have an extra shower rack hanging in the back of my shower and i used a Command Strip to hang it there. It had been hanging there for two years now.

Thank you so much Annabella, it inspires me so much to know that I could inspire you! It’s my mission too, I’ve started going through the declutter calendar and it feels much more manageable to do a little every day. Thanks again and Happy 2017!

Hi Al! The link is the site where I found the picture, it looks like a vintage cake stand so I’d suggest trying a vintage or thrift store to find one similar! Good luck and happy holidays! 🙂
