Baked Brie with Maple Glazed Walnuts
An effortless and elegant appetizer, perfect for any gathering.
- 8 oz. wheel of Brie cheese
- ½ cup California walnuts
- 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
- Dash of salt
- Dash of pepper
- Assorted crackers
Preheat oven to 350º.
Place brie on a baking sheet lined with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Once brie has baked for about 10 minutes, add walnuts, maple syrup, salt and pepper to a small skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring very frequently until syrup has evaporated.
Allow brie to cool for a few minutes, transfer to serving dish and spoon maple glazed walnuts on top. Serve immediately with assorted crackers, apple slices or baguette.
