Hi friends, we made it to Friday, woo hoo! I hope you’ve had a great week! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Any creating, maybe? These beautiful candle makeovers are fun DIYs with a quick result!
I love candles! Whether homemade or store-bought, we have to have them in every room of our house. Hmmm… except for the laundry room; I’ll have to change that! After I painted some plain dollar store candles with navy and gold brush strokes for the Darice blog, it got me thinking about how easy (and impactful!) candle makeovers can be. Many of these ideas could be made with dollar store pillar or taper candles. These candle transformations are beautiful… isn’t it amazing what a difference some paint, wax or flowers can make?!

I really like the frosted salt candles. These all would make awesome DIY gifts for friends or family though. Candles are cheap at the dollar store too.
