DIY Floral Valentine’s Day Wreath

Create this beautiful DIY Floral Valentine’s Day Wreath that will decorate your door with beautiful English Roses all the way through summer!

Hello, friends and Happy New Year… it’s been awhiiiile! If you don’t follow me on Facebook or Instagram then you may not know that we had our baby, so I’m taking a break on the blog and crafting for now in order to soak up all of the newborn snuggles I can! 🙂

I originally created this pretty DIY Floral Valentine’s Day Wreath last year and have been anxious to get it back up on my door since I took it down for my fall wreath last year!

It was easy to make and is the perfect way to brighten your door after your holiday wreath comes down.

DIY Floral Valentine’s Day Wreath

Supplies

The exact flowers that I used for this project are no longer available so I have included links to the closest substitutes that I could find.

• Heart Shape wreath form
• Rose Stems (Update: the exact ones I used were discontinued but these, these, these, these, these, these and these are all good substitutes.
• 2 to 3 blocks floral foam
• Wire Cutters

Directions

First you will cut the floral foam into pieces sized to fit snugly in the heart shape wreath form.

Cut the English Rose blooms off of all of the stems (a couple of inches from the base of the bloom to leave enough stem to insert into the floral foam).

Arrange the English Roses onto the Floral Valentine’s Day Wreath by inserting the stems into the floral foam. I found it easiest to arrange the larger sized roses first to make sure they are spaced appropriately and then fill in the gaps with the small closed blooms to fill in the remainder of the heart form. Tip: You may end up with a lot of holes in the floral foam from re-positioning the flowers to find the correct positioning for your Floral Valentine’s Day Wreath so place a drop of hot glue onto the tip of the stem when positioning the roses for the final time. This will keep the flowers securely in place.

Weave ribbon through the top of the heart wreath to use as a hanger. Hang on the door, a wall or over a mirror! No need to confine this beauty to the door only!

Also no need to confine your Floral Valentine’s Day wreath to only Valentine’s Day! The beautiful blooms and cheery colors will look beautiful on the door all the way through the summer!
